• Transparent and open county government

• Accountability to the taxpayers who pay the bills

• The county should provide coordination for mobility, public safety, health care, drainage and fire protection

• Involve citizens in Commissioners Court discussions and decisions

• Tax rates should go down when property appraisals go up

• Your taxes should be spent wisely and locally whenever possible

• No deficit spending except for declared disasters and emergencies

• Spend for what we need; save the rest to balance future budgets
